Northwest of Waterdeep, this swampland is a tangle of trees, brush, boggy ground, standing water, reeds, and cat-tails stretching as far as the eye can see. Strange creatures are rumored to roam within, threatening the Trade Way Road, and the swamps ever expanding waters have been known to wash out the roadway many times over past years. Deep within this swampland is the long abandoned Naerytar Castle.
